914: The Mid-Century Modern Porsche examined the influence of the mid-century modernism movement on the design and execution of the Porsche 914. Moderated by Frances Anderton, the host of KCRW’s weekly Design and Architecture show “DnA,” in conjunction with Ray Shaffer of Porsche Classic, this panel was comprised of mid-century home restoration expert Mark Haddawy, automotive designer Freeman Thomas, and editor-in-chief Pete Stout—all three of whom also happen to own a Porsche 914.
